Sherwood House is 3 miles from M1 Junction 27. 

Turn east on to the A608, towards Mansfield, you will see the signpost for Hucknall.  Follow signs for Hucknall through traffic lights onto the A611. 

Follow this dual carriageway road to a roundabout adjacent to Nottinghamshire International Clothing Centre.  Go straight on at the roundabout (towards Hucknall town centre) and straight over the second (small) roundabout past the Ambulance Station shortly after. 

You will see the National School on the right hand side, and the Malt Shovel public house on the left. 

Annesley Lodge Residential and Nursing Home is on the left just after the pub - DTA, 144 Annesley Road, is the first building on the left past the Home, and our car park entrance is between the two.

From the East (e.g. Grantham)

Follow A52 to the Saxondale Roundabout at Bingham.  Take A46 north towards Newark, but at the next roundabout turn north west on the A6097. 

Cross the River Trent at Gunthorpe Bridge, and at the next roundabout continue straight on the A6097. A few miles further on, turn left at the next roundabout on to the B6386, signed Nottingham.  Continue until you reach the A614, where you turn left towards Nottingham.  Pass through some traffic lights, and at the next roundabout turn right on to the A60 towards Mansfield. 

After approximately 2 miles, turn left on to the B6011 signposted Papplewick and Linby.  Pass through both villages, and straight across the next roundabout, until you come to another small roundabout.  Turn left towards Hucknall town centre. 

You will see the National School on the right hand side, and the Malt Shovel public house on the left.

From Nottingham City Centre

Take the A60 Mansfield Road north, towards Mansfield. Go straight across the Goose Fair roundabout, but keep in the left hand lane.  Filter left on to the A611 Hucknall Road. 

Keep on Hucknall Road, straight across a large roundabout after approximately 2 miles where it crosses the Nottingham Ring Road by the City Hospital; and straight across a large cross-roads shortly after.  After another 2 miles, cross a small railway bridge, and turn right at the roundabout immediately afterwards.

At the next roundabout, turn left on to the Hucknall by-pass, and go straight over the next two roundabouts, heading towards Mansfield.  At the end of the by-pass, turn right towards Hucknall town centre at the roundabout adjacent to the Nottinghamshire International Clothing Centre.  Go straight over the second (small) roundabout past the Ambulance Station shortly after.  You will see the National School on the right hand side, and the Malt Shovel public house on the left.
