The practice remains entirely independent of all other planning and environmental consultancies, commercial businesses and sectoral interests.
David Tyldesley has been Principal of the Practice since its establishment in 1983. He is a Chartered Town Planner, a qualified Landscape Architect and a Member of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management.
Dr Caroline Chapman is Senior Specialist, working primarily with David on the interpretation and application of the Habitats Directive and Habitats Regulations Assessment of plans and projects. Caroline previously worked in these fields for the Environment Agency and at a senior level for Natural England and has also developed expertise in air pollution effects on ecosystems.
DTA works in association with a wide variety of other consultancies to provide the most effective team to meet client requirements for each job.
Gill Nall is our Office Manager and provides multi-skilled support across the Practice including IT, health and safety, quality management, financial and administrative duties.
